JJamal
W. Wimberly born April 9th 1976 in Chicago IL. at Cook County Hospital
was born to be a star. He began his acting career in the classrooms
of every school he ever attended only to be kicked out because the
world wasn't ready for such a child actor....at least not in school.
Although, his grades stood out beyond the rest of his classmates
he went on to college to fine tune his entertainment skills at the
prestigious KD Studio Actors Conservatory of the Southwest. It is
there where his true talents were cultivated.
During
his formal education there it seems that this once "class clown"
was now voted as Student Council President. He landed several nonpaying
extra roles while in school and several commercials. In September
2003 he graduated with his degree in applied Arts and was signed
by a brand new agency at that time called KMA(KiserMathewsAgency).
It
is with this agency he is now getting alot of exposure and his talents
a! re more and more appreciated within the industry. He has went
on to host and be a contestant in ABC Televisions reality show ...Are
You Hot, the search for Americas Sexiest Men and Women, a few nation
commercials one being Harrah's Casinos, several bit roles in movies
with some top named actors and he is now currently been cast in
a TVs sci-fi pilot soon to be a series titled Digital Burn as the
character of Haven. We are expecting this guy to soon be a household
name starting right here in your living room as Troy in out Feature
Film......"sideFX"
A
conversation with Jamal (Troy)
Q:
What was it like working on the movie?
J:
First I want to tell you about the movie. It blew me away. I'm so
proud to be part of it.
Q:
So, the set?
J: Intense. Everyone's probably already said this, but damn! It
was scary being out there. And I'm a big guyÑI can take care of
myself. But all that blood and screaming and shit. Even I was freaked
out.
Q: Are you a horror fan?
J: Certain kinds. Stuff like The Sixth Sense, and stuff like Side
FX, the more intelligent stuff where there's not just some evil
asshole on the loose. No Friday the 13th for me. I like the stuff
that makes you think. And on this one, even I didn't know if I was
bad or good, if I'd end up turning on my friends.
